Purchase Ledger Assistant Expert

Better People is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team in Woodley.
This is a full-time office-based role that requires a skilled professional to manage creditors, process purchase invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in Purchase Ledger or a related field, strong business communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £28k per annum, 25 days annual leave, and an extra day off for your birthday, which increases by one day each year.
In this role, you will work closely with the Accounts team to ensure smooth financial operations and provide excellent customer service to suppliers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Managing creditors and processing purchase invoices
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reports
- Providing excellent customer service to suppliers and colleagues
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as required by the Accounts team
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years' experience in Purchase Ledger or a related field
- Strong business communication skills, both on the phone and in writing
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
