Job Title: Financial Ledger Assistant

Location: Runcorn

Estimated Salary: £28,000 per annum

Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team at KPI Recruiting. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing our purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders

  2. Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies

  3. Prepare payment runs and maintain accurate financial records

  4. Handle supplier queries promptly and professionally

  5. Support month-end processes and contribute to annual audits

  6. Manage the administration of shared inboxes and supplier/customer accounts

Requirements
  • Experience in an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Role
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and ideally experienced with SAGE X3
  • Experience in finance operations, with a good understanding of internal controls and procedures
  • A clear and effective communicator, able to collaborate seamlessly with finance and non-finance colleagues
