We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Expert to join our finance team, who can make a significant contribution to our success.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, including matching, batching and coding of invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

You will have a strong understanding of financial principles and procedures, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the purchase ledger, including matching, batching and coding of invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate profit and loss balances
  • Resolve invoice/order queries promptly and efficiently
  • Prepare and process payments, including invoicing and collection of revenue
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Perform other duties as required to support the finance team

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other financial software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
