Purchase Ledger Assistant Role

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a previous role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and excellent communication skills. They must be able to manage the inbox effectively, validate and process supplier invoices, and reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger.

In this role, you will support the team with high-volume purchase ledger tasks and work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

The company offers flexible working hours to suit individual needs and free parking on site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and validate supplier invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger.
  • Manage the inbox effectively.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a previous role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

The estimated salary for this position is £24,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
