About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Manager - Donor Engagement to join our team at Scottish Opera. As a key member of our fundraising department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a donor recruitment strategy to grow our lower and mid giving levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a donor recruitment strategy to increase new income and retain existing supporters.
  • Develop a data-driven approach to identify and engage with potential donors.
  • Collaborate with the Individual Giving Team to forge new relationships and establish a strong foundation for future giving.
  • Ensure donors have an exceptional experience supporting Scottish Opera, with opportunities to increase their giving and outstanding stewardship.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in making the ask and developing a data-driven strategy.
  • Knowledge of individual giving fundraising techniques and best practices across the charity sector.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn fundraising techniques and attend training.
  • Interest in opera or the performing arts, although not essential.
