Fundraising Strategist

At Journal of Music, we are seeking a Fundraising Strategist to lead our fundraising efforts. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding for the organization.

We are a music-focused non-profit based in Glasgow, Scotland. Our mission is to promote music education and appreciation.

The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plan.

The Director of Philanthropy will be responsible for building relationships with donors, securing major gifts, and managing the annual giving program. This includes researching and identifying potential donors, creating tailored solicitation plans, and tracking progress.

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve annual goals
• Build and maintain relationships with major donors and prospects
• Manage the annual giving program, including direct mail appeals and online solicitations

We are looking for someone who is passionate about fundraising and has a strong track record of success. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
