We are currently recruiting for a Senior Consultant in Geriatric Medicine to join our team at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high-quality patient care, and contributing to the development of clinical services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and rapidly expanding team, delivering innovative practice and evolving offers of care.

The Trust delivers acute hospital care, intermediate care, community, and primary care services to a population of over 600,000 people with a combined workforce of around 9000 dedicated and skilled staff from 17 locations.

  • The role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to support the day-to-day clinical management of patients, working closely with the Frailty Medical lead and Clinical Director to deliver the Trust's Clinical Strategy.
