About the Role

We are seeking a Cardiac Intensive Care Nurse to join our team in our Enhanced Care Area (ECA). As an experienced nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assessing and prioritizing patients' needs, providing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, with experience working in an acute setting, preferably in an ECA or High Dependency Unit. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To contribute to the delivery of quality patient care by participating in and providing the assessment, planning, provision, and evaluation of individualised care.
  • To assist in the admission, transfer & discharge of patients in accordance with local policy.
  • To participate in the developing and monitoring of standards of care and other quality initiatives in a positive manner.
  • To promote the safeguarding of vulnerable patients in line with national and local policy.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Experience working in an acute setting, preferably in an ECA or High Dependency Unit
  • Ability to undertake advanced life skills training, including blood gases and ECGs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary and Benefits:
