Cavalry are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Lead to join our new Supported Living Scheme. This is to work alongside a Manager on a scheme with multiple residents with various complex needs. As a PBS lead, you will be responsible for supporting and developing the team to provide safe and positive practice. This role requires strong leadership skills, a background in supported and/or assisted living, and the ability to effectively train a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reduce the need for restrictive practice, developing positive behaviour support plans.
- Develop and implement individualised preventative strategies for the residents, promoting positive outcomes.
- Coordinate and promote practice leadership.
- Monitor and assess service users physical and mental well-being.
- Provide support and guidance to caregivers in handling challenging situations, adopting a therapeutic approach.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise the quality of life for the residents.
- Investigate incidents, mitigate risk where possible and lead lessons learnt exercises.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards

Skills and experience:

- Experience in supported living, assisted living or homecare.
- Knowledge of preventative strategies and safety intervention.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Understanding conditions but limited to Mental Health, Learning Disability, Autism and Brain Injuries.
- BILD Act Certified Training (desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
