We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Halifax, United Kingdom. As the second-in-command, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Ensure seamless kitchen operations during service, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
  • Implement and maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene protocols, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients, with a focus on innovation and consistency.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
