Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in providing expert psychological care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with cancer and their families, using evidence-based interventions and techniques.
- Assess and develop treatment plans for patients with complex psychological needs, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide training and education on psychological care and support.
- Conduct research and contribute to the development of new treatments and interventions for cancer patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to psychological care.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working in cancer care or a related field, with a strong understanding of the psychological needs of patients with cancer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and techniques for working with patients with cancer and their families.
