We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cancer psychological therapies team, you will play a vital role in providing counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families, using evidence-based interventions and techniques.
- Work closely with other members of the cancer psychological therapies team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Provide training and supervision to cancer services staff on counseling and psychotherapy techniques.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience working in cancer care or a related field.
- Extensive experience working in the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
