Clinical Psychologist Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist Therapist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a key member of our cancer psychological therapies team, you will play a vital role in providing counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families, using advanced counseling skills to assess and address their emotional and psychological needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, based on their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Provide training and supervision to cancer services staff, promoting best practices and evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Document patient interactions and progress in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Postgraduate degree in counseling or psychotherapy.
- 4 years of experience working in cancer or palliative care.
- Extensive experience working in the NHS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations and adapt to changing circumstances.
