About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a Bank Speech and Language Therapist in Voice Disorders, you will be responsible for providing expert assessment, treatment, and management of patients with voice disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with dysphonia and dysphagia of varying types and complexity in the head and neck cancer and voice caseloads.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior speech and language therapists.
- Teach and train others as required.
- Participate in Voice clinics and other clinical activities.
Person Specification
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT).
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Relevant knowledge, skills, and experience in voice disorders.
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues.
- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
