We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in providing expert psychological care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients and their relatives, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Assess and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide training and supervision to staff members on psychological care and counseling techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cancer care policies and procedures.
- Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in cancer care or a related field.
- Extensive experience working in the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
