This is a fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity for 12 months, with the possibility of expanding to more hours per week.
Main Responsibilities- Facilitate occupational assessments and interventions on a one-to-one basis, including cooking skills sessions, identifying meaningful activities, and planning purposeful routines and occupational interventions in groups.
- Identify and plan activities to promote patients' independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement occupational therapy plans.
- Support patients in regaining, maintaining, or developing activities of daily living (ADL) skills.
- Facilitate patients' engagement in identified purposeful roles and activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy programs.

Essential Qualifications:
- A recognized qualification in an area related to the workplace or equivalent technical/life skills.
- Evidence of a commitment to lifelong learning.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience of working with people with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties.
- Experience running groups/activities.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Experience of being supervised.
