Fusion Engineering Systems Developer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Graduate Engineering Analyst. This is a two-year graduate scheme, where you will spend 80% of your time developing general work-related skills and professional qualifications, and 20% on graduate training and development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and test new analysis code modules.
- Create Finite Element (FE) models of components and assemblies for single-physics analyses.
- Use calculation tools and FE analyses to verify design concepts against load specifications.
- Become familiar with routine analyses for Fusion Engineering Systems design.
- Collaborate with trainers to acquire knowledge of UKAEA methods and processes.
- Manage small work packages independently and work with assigned CAD designers or technicians.
- Potentially participate in experiments and testing campaigns.
Salary and Benefits:
- £32,729 salary + excellent benefits package, including outstanding pension.
