Fusion Engineer

As a Graduate Process Engineer at UKAEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of fusion energy. We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge process engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform process engineering tasks designed to provide experience and familiarization with fusion systems, practices, and programs within the organization.
- Manage own development continuously working towards building knowledge and skills.
- Requirements capture and management over project lifecycle.
- Creation, review, and update of Heat and Mass Balance Calculations, Block Flow Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Process Simulations, HAZID & HAZOPs, and Process Design Basis.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, with a good understanding of process engineering principles and their application.
