We are seeking a highly experienced Building Team Leader Commercial to join our team at The Engineer in Culham, UK.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of engineers in magnet technology and contribute to the development of fusion energy. As a Building Team Leader Commercial, you will provide technical and programmatic leadership for high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of Magnet Development Engineers
  • Providing technical and programmatic leadership for high-value projects
  • Building strategic partnerships with industry, academia, and research institutes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A PhD or equivalent level of experience in magnet technology or a related field
  • Experience in building and leading technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
