As a Fusion Energy Project Manager, you'll leverage your expertise to guide the environmental and sustainability direction of complex, large-scale projects. Job Description:
We're looking for a highly skilled Fusion Energy Project Manager to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Leading major programmes such as JET Decommissioning & Repurposing, and other engineering projects.
2. Defining and communicating the environmental and sustainability strategy across senior leadership and within project teams.
3. Embedding environmental requirements into engineering projects through Best Available Techniques (BAT) workshops and Environmental Impact Identification (ENVID) planning.
4. Validating environmental studies, assessing risks, and inputting into the performance evaluation of external service providers.
5. Developing resource strategies, managing consultants, and facilitating cross-programme collaboration to maximize environmental resource use.

Requirements:
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant field; environmental or engineering qualifications preferred.
• Proven track record in environmental management for large, complex programmes, with expert knowledge of environmental and sustainability legislation.
• Skilled in embedding BAT

This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
