Fusion Energy Waste Manager

About the RoleThe Fusion Energy Waste Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe handling and disposal of waste materials from the JET fusion reactor, JET ancillary systems, and other UKAEA experiments.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct waste estimation activities to assess the likely nature and quantities of waste materials.
- Conduct waste sampling activities to support the determination of waste management/disposal routes.
- Support waste facility operation, design, and processes through effective engagement with internal stakeholders.
- Salary: £33,000 (inclusive of MPP) + excellent benefits including outstanding pension.
- Corporate bonus scheme up to 7% and a Relocation allowance (if eligible).
