Fusion Energy Specialist

UK Industrial Fusion Solutions (UKIFS) Ltd. is a subsidiary of UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), leading the delivery of fusion energy through design and delivery of the Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production (STEP) prototype fusion plant.
We are seeking an experienced Fusion Energy Specialist to join our team in driving the commercial viability of fusion energy by 2040. This role requires strong cost engineering background in infrastructure/engineering environments with good technical understanding and interest in integrated fusion power plant design, or strong knowledge of fusion power plant integration and interest in costs.
The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering/scientific discipline or significant experience of working in an engineering field. The estimated salary for this role is £54,376 (inclusive of MPP) + excellent benefits.
