Fusion, the process that powers the Sun and stars, is one of the most promising options for generating cleaner, carbon-free energy. UKAEA leads the way in realising fusion energy, partnering with industry and research for groundbreaking advancements.

We are seeking an Intellectual Property Manager to drive IP activities at UKAEA and support the commercialisation of fusion energy. As a key member of the IP team, you will ensure our IP strategy and implementation aligns with our goals.

About the Role

The salary for this role is £67,023 (inclusive of a Market Premium Payment). Onsite working is expected for 3 days each week.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing an effective IP strategy that supports the commercialisation of fusion energy.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect and exploit IP assets.

  • A strong technical background, preferably in a scientific or engineering discipline.
