Seeking a Youth Activities Assistant

We require an individual to support a 16-year-old boy with Autism and severe learning disability in participating in community activities.

The successful candidate will possess good communication skills, patience, and a caring attitude. A car owner with suitable business insurance is also necessary.

Compensation: £12.00 per hour, including mileage allowance of £0.45 per mile.

Main Duties:
  1. Accompany the individual to community events and guarantee his safety.
  2. Enable the individual to make informed decisions and maintain their independence.
  3. Offer emotional support and practical assistance as needed.

  • A willingness to engage in activities.
Work Schedule:

This role demands a commitment of 6 hours per week, primarily on weekends and school breaks, from 10:00 to 16:00. Flexibility may be accommodated if required.

Perks: Annual leave entitlement equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks of work, reimbursement of expenses incurred during the role, and obligatory training sessions on GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, and Autism.
