Caregiver for Social Activities

£11.64 per hour. We are seeking a caring and reliable individual to join our team as a caregiver for social activities.
This role involves supporting an individual with daily tasks, participating in social activities, and accessing local amenities in the Hellesdon area of Norwich.
We require someone who is a confident car driver with business use insurance and able to accommodate a wheelchair in their vehicle.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with personal care and household tasks
- Transporting the individual to and from activities, including swimming, shopping, and the cinema
- Supporting the individual with activities at home, such as gardening and crafting
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:
- A female car owner/driver with suitable business use insurance and a large enough vehicle to accommodate the individual's wheelchair
- Confident in a swimming pool environment
- Loving crafting - sewing skills would be an advantage
Please note that:
- The rate of pay for this position is £11.64 per hour
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
- Hours and times of work: 7 hours a week to be worked over two weekdays from 10am
- The annual holiday entitlement will be equivalent to the work done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
Before commencing employment, you will need to undergo:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period, which is six months
- Completion of Careskills Training Modules
