Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Support Specialist to join our Norfolk youth team for Prospects, part of Shaw Trust Youth. Based in Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, you will be working directly with young people aged 14-18 who are at risk of statutory intervention. Our Youth Specialists operate in schools and in the community, providing support and guidance to help young people realise their potential.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Youth Work (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience of working directly with young people aged 13–19 in formal or informal settings involving assessment of needs and implementation of interventions to overcome barriers
  • Experience of using a range of approaches to engage, establish and maintain relationships with young people
