Youth Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Assistant to join our team at UKCIL Ltd. The successful candidate will work with a 16-year-old boy with Autism, providing support with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety.
The hourly rate for this position is £12.00, with mileage reimbursement of £0.45 per mile. A full UK driving license and own personal car are required.
Key Tasks:
- Assist the individual with accessing community resources and participating in activities
- Ensure safety and well-being when out and about
- Support independence and decision-making skills
- Provide encouragement and practical assistance
Essential Requirements:
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Patient with excellent communication skills
- Caring and empathetic attitude
- Active and willing to engage in various activities
- Car owner with suitable business insurance
Terms and Conditions:
- Annual holiday entitlement equivalent to 5.6 weeks' work
- Mileage reimbursement and expenses covered
Post Requirements:
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer)
- Satisfactory references from two referees
- Completion of probationary period
