About the Position
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£70,000 per annum.
This exciting opportunity as a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco Pharmacies involves leading a team of pharmacists and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. You'll be responsible for managing the pharmacy operations, including supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and private services, and providing expert advice to customers.
To excel in this role, you'll need a strong educational background in pharmacy, experience in managing teams, and excellent communication skills. As a leader, you'll play a vital part in developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and drive business growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and other staff members
- Ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy, including managing stock levels and supplies
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including advising on medications and providing health education
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including payment claims for NHS-covered items
Your Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- DBS check prior to employment
