Office Administrator

The Business Support Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Business Manager in managing the school finances effectively. This includes using MS Office skills, particularly Excel, to track financial transactions.
This is a 39-week sessional post working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days. The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:00 and Friday, 08:00-13:00 with flexible starting and finishing times.
About the RoleKnox Academy is a comprehensive school situated in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland. We are looking for an experienced administrator who can demonstrate their confidence in using spreadsheets to support financial monitoring and reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.

- Previous experience dealing with HR/recruitment and/or school-based office experience would be advantageous.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,322 - £30,257 per year pro rata. The hourly rate of pay is approximately £15.58. As an employee of East Lothian Council, you will have access to a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
