Project Support Officer

Reed is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join their team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects, including monitoring suppliers' performance, coordinating with internal project teams, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management:
    • Monitor and track incoming and outgoing project documents and drawings.
    • Identify and report any deviations or delays, and maintain accurate records using the Expediting Master List.
    • Coordinate calls and video conferences to discuss progress and potential issues.
  • Shipping and Logistics:
    • Review and prepare shipping and payment documents in accordance with signed contracts.
    • Maintain and monitor the shipping document schedule to ensure timely availability.
    • Coordinate shipping document requirements between customers, suppliers, shipping agents, and government customs agents.
  • Procurement Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the purchasing role as required.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a project delivery environment or similar, including project library, filing, recording, and reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to analyze and compile information.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage varying workloads and multitask.
