Job Title: IT Project Support Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the IT Project Team, including coordination, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Organize and schedule project meetings, workshops, and events, ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and decision logs.
  • Track project resources, including personnel, equipment, and tools, and update resource allocation as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure resource availability and alignment with project requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules, tracking milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Compile and distribute regular project status reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the team in tracking project budgets, costs, and expenditures, working closely with the finance department.
  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and reports for project status reviews and steering committee meetings.
  • Act as a point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  • Support adherence to project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Administer and maintain project management tools, such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in an IT Project Support role or Project Administration or Junior PM role within an IT project environment.
  • Familiarity with IT Project management principles and methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • MS Office proficiency, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ideal certification or training in project management, such as PRINCE2 Foundation or Agile.
