As we continue to grow, we need a skilled and driven Accounting Manager - E-commerce to support our CFO and develop our Finance team.

With a strong emphasis on being approachable, and being able to identify and fulfill development and coaching needs of the Finance Team, the successful candidate will thrive in our dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of the finance function, overseeing, coaching and developing the finance team to deliver a 'right first time' and 'best in class' mentality;
  • Ensuring the integrity of the financial ledgers, accounting processes and that appropriate internal controls are implemented and maintained;
  • Timely production of internal financial reporting together with supplementary analysis and comprehensive narrative to tell the story behind the numbers;
  • Ownership of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process;
  • Review and sign off of Group VAT returns, including overseas VAT/Sales Tax returns where applicable;
Requirements

We are looking for a highly analytical individual with a high degree of knowledge in relation to stock accounting and the global import process. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of running a finance department in the e-commerce/retail sector and hold a high-caliber ACA or ACCA qualification. They will also possess excellent IT skills, specifically advanced Excel and systems knowledge.

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits including annual leave allowance, private health insurance, and enhanced parental leave.
