About the Role
MTrec Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have excellent technical accounting knowledge and practical experience of standard costing, as well as strong analytical skills.

Job Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for managing the preparation of monthly management accounts, short-term forecasts, and budgets in line with group reporting formats and deadlines. This includes regularly reviewing and updating standard product costs, setting standard costs of new products, and analysing data to assist the senior management team in understanding financial information.

Responsibilities
- Manage project data within the business system to ensure data integrity is maintained and financial results are prepared in line with statutory and group accounting policies.
- Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations, including stock counts and inventory valuation.
- Prepare financial analysis and commentary for inclusion in the monthly management report, including collation and review of other report sections.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to provide disclosure packs and tax analysis.

About You
We require a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience and strong technical accounting knowledge. You must also have access to a full UK driver's licence, as travel between sites will be required. Excellent working knowledge of accounts/finance IT systems, database management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.

Benefits
