SENDCo Requirements and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENDCo to join our leadership team at Philosophy Education. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring all pupils with special educational needs receive the necessary support and guidance.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing the school's SEND record
Providing specialist support for teachers and staff
Collaborating with class teachers on Personal Learning Plans (PLP) for individual pupils
Developing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
Organizing staff training to meet pupil needs
Leading SEND Intervention groups

This school prioritizes children's development and well-being, providing a supportive environment for both students and staff. With a strong leadership team, we offer ongoing support and resources for our SENDCo to excel in their role. Salary range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.
