Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior HR Business Partner to join our team at Lorien. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in driving business priorities and delivering the people plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and line managers to drive business outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities.
  • Develop and implement talent strategies to drive business performance.
  • Align with Centre's of expertise to provide HR solutions to the business.
  • Drive performance management to increase individual and business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and HR procedures.
  • Balance priorities and project work with emerging and immediate business needs.
  • Scope and drive execution of complex tasks and project work.
  • Work with leaders to establish high-performing teams.
  • Advocate and role model Leadership Competencies and Cultural Factors.
  • Manage change to enable continual transformation for an optimal organisation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or similar organisation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with exacting timelines and high accuracy.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Take full responsibility and ownership for actions.
  • Think broadly and consider implications of actions across the business function.
  • Use coaching style to challenge partners to think differently.
  • Demonstrate high levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent influencing, relationship building and communication skills.
  • Proven change leadership ability.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Well-developed IT skills with experience of using an HR Information System.
  • Solid understanding of employment law practices.
  • Enthusiastic and positive energy.
  • Highly professional and able to flex style and adjust to different audiences.
  • Prioritising own workload and self-efficient, results oriented.
  • The ability to take initiative and work without supervision is essential.
