Job Title: HR Business Partner - Strategic Advisor

Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives by providing expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain positive and constructive working relationships with senior leaders, managers, and employees to ensure effective HR functions are delivered within the designated region.
  2. Support Operational Services: Collaborate with corporate colleagues and teams to support the operational services and ensure seamless delivery of HR functions.
  3. Reporting and Analysis: Produce and present reports at meetings and committees, analyzing and identifying trends and potential solutions in all areas of performance.
  4. Interventions and Performance Improvement: Coordinate and deliver interventions to improve performance in areas such as absence management, recruitment and retention, appraisals, statutory and mandatory training.
  5. Workforce Strategy and Planning: Contribute to the development and delivery of the Workforce strategy and associated HR plans.
  6. Portfolio Management: Lead on a designated portfolio and lead working groups in areas such as absence management, recruitment and retention, and employee relations.
  7. Change Management: Support and advise managers with scoping and delivering complex change management programs.
  8. TUPE Transfers: Lead on TUPE transfers and support the bid processes for further contracts.
  9. HR Advice and Guidance: Provide professional specialist HR advice, ensuring employment legislation is adhered to and Spectrum's HR policies and procedures are followed.
  10. HR Team Management: Manage the HR team, ensuring timely delivery of HR transactional functions, including recruitment activities and management of sickness absence cases and employee relation cases.
  11. Learning and Development: Understand the learning and development needs for the region and work with the Learning and Development Lead to develop and implement training programs.
  12. Employee Relations: Support employee relation panels and undertake/support highly complex employee relation investigations.
  13. Senior Leadership Agenda: Contribute to the Senior Leadership Agenda, facilitating workshops and developing and presenting information to Senior Leaders as required.
  14. Audits and Surveys: Develop audits and surveys as required for the service.
