Junior HR Business Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior HR Business Partner to join our team at Lorien. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in driving business priorities and delivering the people plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders and line managers to drive business outcomes.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and act as a sounding board to support their growth and development.
  • Talent Management: Develop and implement talent management strategies to drive business performance and achieve organizational goals.
  • HR Solutions: Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise to provide HR solutions to the business and drive compliance.
  • Performance Management: Drive performance management initiatives to increase individual and business performance.
  • Employment Law: Ensure the business is compliant with employment law and maintain a safe and legal work environment.
  • Project Management: Balance priorities and project work with emerging and immediate business needs.
  • Change Management: Manage change to enable continual transformation and optimize organizational performance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or similar organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exacting timelines and high accuracy.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent influencing, relationship building, and communication skills.
  • Proven change leadership ability and ability to drive execution.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in teams to achieve a common goal.
  • Well-developed IT skills and experience of using HR Information Systems.
  • Solid understanding of employment law practices.
