NHS Hospital Mental Health Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at our NHS hospital in Stafford.
The successful candidate will provide person-centred care and support to adults 18+ with various mental health conditions.
This role requires flexibility with shifts, which will be allocated according to business needs.
Shift patterns may include:
- 07:00 - 15:00
- 07:30 - 15:30
- 12:00 - 20:00
- 12:30 - 20:30
- 21:30 - 07:30
Essential requirements:
- Relevant experience in mental health settings
- CPI restraint training certification
- DBS on update service (desired)
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Capacity to resolve problems and make timely decisions
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate skill-building activities for residents
- Escort residents to scheduled appointments
- Deliver individualised care and support
- Empower residents to maintain independence through daily life assistance
- Coordinate resident-focused activities
