About the Role

This challenging yet fulfilling role involves working within our service while undertaking a programme of training at Newman University. You will progressively learn how to deliver low-intensity interventions, at high volume, with patients suffering from anxiety and depression. Our comprehensive support includes extensive clinical and caseload supervision, ensuring your success in this vital role.

You will split your time between university attendance and working in service, conducting assessments and providing face-to-face and remote Low Intensity Interventions. It is essential that successful candidates seek BABCP accreditation following six months of relevant patient contact.


Your Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for highly organized and motivated individuals who possess qualifications suitable to their level of study. Postgraduate Certificate (M Level) qualification route or equivalent, A degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent, and Graduate Certificate route are all acceptable. Additionally, Advanced Level GCEs (A-C) or equivalent are required.

A significant amount of experience working with people who have suffered from mental health problems is necessary for clinical practice. You should be able to inspire and engage people, identify barriers, understand client needs, and possess excellent motivational skills.


What We Offer

We provide an excellent starting salary of £26,530 per annum, 27 days annual leave per annum, plus statutory holidays, and a 5% contributory pension scheme. Our comprehensive in-person training program in your first few weeks will give you the tools you need to succeed in the role. You will also work with passionate individuals who are dedicated to supporting those in need.
