**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Governance Specialist Leader to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Governance Specialist Leader, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and governance of psychological services across the Care Group. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safe and effective delivery of Psychological practice across services delivered within the Care Group.

This role involves leading on service development specifically related to psychological services and practice, including the implementation of national and local strategies and policies. You will also work with the Care Group Leadership team and operational managers to identify new business opportunities and support the development of new service models for the delivery of new business relevant to psychological practice.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral level training or equivalent in a psychological profession, with significant post-qualifying experience working as a highly specialised Applied Psychologist/Child Psychotherapist/Family Therapist across a range of health / social care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level clinical expertise for clinicians delivering psychological services across the Care Group.
  • Lead on service development specifically related to psychological services and practice.
  • Support effective workforce planning for psychological services and practice.
  • Work with the Care Group Leadership team and operational managers to identify new business opportunities.
