About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Leadership Role in Community Services to join our Community Learning Disability Intensive Support Team (IST) in South Staffordshire. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals, providing intensive support to individuals with learning disabilities and shaping the future of community services.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver high-quality services. A strong understanding of current trends and legislation impacting services provided to people with a learning disability is essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred services to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including family members, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Specialist Community Learning Disability Teams and in-patient services, to ensure seamless transitions and placements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Professional qualification - RNLD or suitably experienced nurse.
  • Current professional registration with the NMC.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and maintenance of portfolio.
