An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as an Education Mental Health Specialist within the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with their mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions in educational settings, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop plans for intervention and agreed outcomes. You will also support and empower children, young people, and their families to make informed choices about the interventions being offered.

To be successful in this role, you will require a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner qualification, obtained through completion of a CYP IAPT approved training course. You must also have experience of working with children and young people who have social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties, as well as the delivery of specific therapeutic interventions.
