We are seeking an exceptional Acute Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at Brocton House, St Georges Hospital Stafford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with acute mental health problems.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centred care, and a passion for providing innovative interventions to support individuals during their most challenging times.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for career progression, training, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality clinical services to patients and their families.
  • Acting as named nurse to a group of patients under the direction/supervision of the person identified with continuing responsibility.
  • Participating in therapeutic group work programmes.
  • Taking charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager.
  • Assessing care needs and contributing to the formulation of relevant plans based on individual goals and evidence-based interventions.
  • Providing nursing interventions to support individuals in achieving their agreed goals and coordinating reviews of progress towards those objectives.
