About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse on our Adult Acute Mental Health Ward.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the nursing team, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered, and contributing to the overall success of the ward.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to develop their leadership skills and take on a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the nursing team on the ward and ensure that high-quality patient care is delivered.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide regular supervision and support to enhance the professional development of staff members.

What You'll Need:

  • Qualified and registered Mental Health Professional (NMC).
  • Evidence of extensive post-registration experience of working with older adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
  • Experience of working with people who have difficulty engaging with services and have complex mental health needs.
