Nurse Manager

As a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse on our Adult Acute Mental Health Ward, you will be responsible for leading the nursing team and ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered.
You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans, provide regular supervision and support to enhance the professional development of staff members, and contribute to the overall success of the ward.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to develop their leadership skills and take on a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursing team on the ward and ensure that high-quality patient care is delivered.
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide regular supervision and support to enhance the professional development of staff members.
Requirements:
- Qualified and registered Mental Health Professional (NMC).
- Evidence of extensive post-registration experience of working with older adults experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
- Experience of working with people who have difficulty engaging with services and have complex mental health needs.
