Mental Health Nurse Specialist

Active Care Group Recruitment is a leading provider of neuro and mental healthcare services in the UK.
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital, a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18 with a diagnosed mental health condition.
The ideal candidate will have a current NMC Pin registration -RMN, RNLD, RSCN- and a legal right to work in the UK. CAMHs experience is desirable but not essential.
This is a full-time position working 62 hours per week on a rota basis. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:

As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting and supporting the health of individual patients/residents, assessing care and health education needs, and developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care. You will also gain experience and skills in clinical practice, facilitation and teaching, and management under supervision.
You will take charge of the ward/department/unit in the absence of senior nursing staff following performance review and adopt a flexible approach to hours of duty to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.
