About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our Adult Acute Mental Health Team at Brocton House in Stafford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our service.



Job Responsibilities



  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to patients and their families, working closely with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Act as named nurse to a group of patients under the supervision of the ward manager and deputy ward manager.
  • Participate in therapeutic group work programs, fostering a supportive environment for patients to achieve their goals.
  • Take charge of the ward in the absence of the ward manager and deputy ward manager, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  • Contribute to the assessment of care needs and develop relevant plans based on negotiated goals and evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide nursing interventions, supporting patients in achieving their agreed goals and reviewing progress through recommended outcome measures.


Person Specification


To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of formulating assessments, planning, coordinating, and supporting individuals within a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of providing care and interventions within health settings, including specialist mental health environments.
