Senior Children's Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Children's Support Worker to join our team at Austin Fraser. This role offers the opportunity to work with young people aged 8-18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Austin Fraser is committed to providing high-quality care and support to young people. Our team of experienced professionals works collaboratively to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the independence and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and support the management team to run the shift.
  • Mentor and support newer staff members.
  • Encourage young people to engage in activities that promote their independence and well-being.
  • Manage challenging behaviors safely and sympathetically.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Children's Support Worker or in a similar setting is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required due to the nature of the job.

  • A competitive salary range of £31,065 - £32,091 per annum, including a sleep allowance.
