Children and Youth Support Specialist

As a Children and Youth Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, behavioural, and educational needs of young people. You will work as part of a close-knit team to create a nurturing environment that promotes independence and self-confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement individual support plans to meet the needs of young people
* Provide guidance and mentorship to promote positive behaviour and attitudes
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent
* 2 years' experience in a residential children's home environment
* Full driving licence
* Ability to work shift patterns (8am-10pm plus sleep-ins)
