Support Worker for Children with SEN

**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled Support Worker to join our team at a Special Educational Needs school in Monmouthshire. The successful candidate will work with children who require additional support to access the curriculum and provide a safe and supportive environment for students.
As a Support Worker for Children with SEN, you will be responsible for assisting the class teacher with lesson planning, preparation and delivery, as well as providing one-to-one support to students. You will also be required to monitor and report on student progress, participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs
- Ability to provide a calm and nurturing environment for students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
